IM - Thing 5

I finally got to sit at my computer long enough to chat with Christa and figure out the IM stuff. I can see how that would be helpful if you were sitting at your computer all the time, but that rarely happens for me. I'm in and out of my office all day and don't get to spend much time at my computer most days.

I'm finding it very difficult to work on the "things"--too many interruptions to get anything accomplished. I sure don't have time to sit and read all of the comments for each "thing" either--I'm not sure what the point is to read everyone's "isn't this fun" comments. I guess I'm feeling frazzled lately trying to get everything done with my job plus the pressure to do all of these extra "things"!

I have confidence in myself as a competent, effective learner. However, I think I will have trouble teaching/mentoring others about blogs, etc. as I am struggling to figure out what I'm doing!
